The Sandia Mountains and The Rio Grande River

The move to New Mexico from Texas in 2016 has been a life-altering adventure. The mountains nearby are called “The Sandias” and are breathtaking in their uprising and standing of ground and space. “I am here now and it will change everything”…that is what they said when they were forced out and up by the Rio Grande Rift about 8 million years ago.
